Help Topic: Classified Adverts
I often get enquiries about the Classified Adverts (For Sale, Wanted etc)
These are limited to forum subscribers to POST in, anyone can READ them.
Due to the high hosting costs of running the forum, these adverts can only be posted by subscribers to give an incentive to support the forum financially.
For just £10 per year you have unlimited access to post.
Q) Can I post adverts in the general forums ?
A) No - adverts can only go in the classified adverts and you must subscribe
Q) What can I advertise?
A) Your Supporter Subscription only allows you to advertise items you own yourself. Under no circumstances can you post adverts on behalf of other forum members. You may post an advert on behalf of a non-member for £10.00 per advert - alternatively, please encourage them to join, support the forum and post their own adverts. Items advertised in the funfair section must be fairground specific - just because it could be used on a fairground, doesn't mean it can be advertised e.g. Pickup's etc must use the non-fairground category.
Q) I have a one off advert and don't think its worth subscribing, can you post for me?
A) Generally no - if there are exceptional circumstances (e.g. you are a charity, holding a one off event and are looking for rides to attend) we will give consideration to your request. Each request will be dealt with on its merits. Otherwise the £10 annual subscription is far lower than a newspaper advert & very good value for money.
