  • Due to rogue registrations we now require members to join using their real, full name and to prove that they are who they say they are.

     

    Real, Full Name

     

    We ONLY accept new members who register using their real, full name. You do not have to use your middle name and normal name shortenings are allowed. For example, John Smith, Chris Jones and Edward Steven Matthews are all permissible, Ed0162 and WaltzerFreak are not. If you find your username is taken, you are permitted to add characters after your real full name, for example Chris Jones 2.

     

    If you have registered with a username and NOT your real, full name, your registration WILL be deleted.

     

    Proving You Are Who You Say You Are

     

    In order to complete your registration we need some sort of prove that you are who you say you are. The following is given as suggestions:
    • If you know an existing member, you could ask them to vouch for you
    • If your name and email address appears on the internet, for instance on your own web site
    • You have an established social media account such as Facebook (If using Facebook please visit our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/atfotf/ and click the "Send Message" link. This will enable us to find your profile and confirm your identity)
    • You can provide a scan of something with your name on
    • You have a web site registered and the registrant details are visible e.g. Nominet
     
    The above list isn't exhaustive, but may help to give you an idea of what we need.
     
    If we don't hear from you within SEVEN days, your registration WILL be deleted.
