Virtually all of the images in the Coming Events section are not showing. Where the image should be, there is simply a very small blue square in the centre of the screen with a question mark in it.

Is it my computer? Do I need to update "Flash" or anything like that?

Any help from computer tech guys would be appreciated, as I suspect it is not the Forum, but probably my computer if nobody else has had this issue.

Thanks.

It is working fine my end and no other reports of problems.

I can look into it further, but need more information: What computer/device? What operating system? What browser? When did the problem start? I can then see if I can replicate the problem, search the tech support site and even speak to tech support if all else fails.

Computer: Apple iMac 2012

Operating System: Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6

Browser: Safari 12.1.2

I haven't been on here since last year. This is the first time this evening & noticed it straight away this evening.

I definitely suspect it is something to do with my system - and not the website.

These two issues are unrelated.

Trojanhorse - I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you. I've checked Coming Events through your account and it works fine. That narrows it down to your end. I don't have any Apple products, nor do I know anything about them, so I can't offer any advice. I have searched the support forums in case there is a known forum/apple issue and can't find anything. I can't ask tech support as the issue isn't forum related. Hopefully someone with more Apple knowledge than me can chip in.

Mike - That post doesn't have an image attached, rather one has been embedded from another source. I've deleted the post as the image is missing and forum guidelines require the image to be hosted on forum.

I think you'll find that on most of Dave's posts.

If you come across any and aren't in a position to deal, please report them and someone from the team can do it.

Mike,

It's an issue that's been resolved, although it may be a few weeks until it completely sorts itself out.

From Bill Edward's post further up,

"That post doesn't have an image attached, rather one has been embedded from another source. I've deleted the post as the image is missing and forum guidelines require the image to be hosted on forum."

Hi Harry.

Thanks for your efforts. My problem is that I cannot specifically remember the postings that I couldn't view. Therefore I have carried out a review of a sample of 12. On most of these I can now see the image but I cannot see the image linked by Dave on the following: Knutsford, Slaidburn, Leeds 15/4, Llandudno, and South Cerney. Should I be seeing these? Thanks Mike

Mike

Ive checked those you mention, and,

Knutsford There's no image in Daves post ( just some text) , but you should see one in Shaun's post further down ?

Slaidburn - same as Knutsford, no image

Leeds 15/4 - same as Knutsford, no image

Llandudno - No images in either post.

South Cerney - same as Knutsford, no image.

So to answer your question,  you shouldn't be able to see them.

Rather than delete any Coming Events topics where the image was hosted off-site, we decided to leave them as is. Better to have an advert for a place than none at all.

It was too time consuming to go through every topic removing expired links, hence we said it would take some time to resolve itself.

I can see most images.

I think it's just Dave's posts that don't appear (Sorry Dave!)

Thanks for the work Harry.
