Dear All

 

 Work continues on making a small part of the Rides List available to ALL members. We've a little way to go before it is fully functional - we hope in the next few days the remaining few rides will be available.

 

ALL members will be able to supply information, updates and photos to the Free Rides List.

 

Although we will accept all photos and information for this list (it is not subject to a Moderator Queue, that is, your post will appear immediately), we respectfully request that you consider what you are posting before posting.

 

Whilst we welcome any information or updates to a ride, please ensure they are of general interest. Posts such as "I rode this at Hastings" or I worked on this ride in 1970" are interesting, but not of general interest and we reserve the right to remove these comments in an effort to keep the list from becoming cluttered and irrelevant.

 

With photos please post something different - a different view, different décor etc. Several pages of photos of the ride all similar clutters the entry and reduces its usefulness. Although we will accept all photos we reserve the right to remove obvious duplicates, again to keep the list entries interesting and relevant. What constitutes "excessive" will be a team decision and not down to any one Moderator.
