Hard to explain, but I'll try:

When I type, the cursor doesn't flash and it doesn't move back or forward if I use my arrow keys to move it along (or if I click it to a different place using the mouse).

It is actually moving back and forward invisibly, but the visible cursor just stays in one place without flashing.

Also, when I press the "enter" button, the (non-flashing) cursor moves down to the next row, but still leaves an existing cursor above. So if I press enter several times to go down a few rows, I end up with a vertical line.

It makes editing my posts rather difficult, as I can't see where the cursor is!

It's only started happening the last week or two. It does it all the time now though.

It doesn't happen on any other website, so I assume it's just this one and not my computer?

Thanks.

I've passed this to Tech Support and will keep you posted. As it's the weekend and non-urgent, it may be a day or two before I get a reply, but will keep you posted.

From Tech Support:

Hello Bill,

That is quite an unusual bug. Can you have him test in other browsers? He does seem to be using an older version of Safari, perhaps upgrading could help.

Thanks!

I'll try & upgrade Safari, although I'm not very "techy" (hence the Apple!) so it may take a while. Failing that, I'll try a different browser (again, not sure how to do that but I'll look into it)

Bill, I have just realised it does it on eBay too when trying g to post a listing. So it's not this website - it must be my Browser.

Thanks for looking into it.
