Searching By Owner Name

I want to search the Transport List by Owner.

It appears that you can't search the whole list. You have to search each manufacturer list individually.

Is that what I should expect?

Unfortunately that is a restriction of using what is essentially discussion software to list records as a database.

 

There is however a workaround that isn't perfect.

 

If you add the word "registration" to your search you do get a better result as the word registration appears mainly in the transport lists.

 

Example - If you search ALL forums for "harris registration"  (without the quotes) it returns 69 entries from the transport list, the majority of which are owned by variations of Harris (James Harris, Heath Harris, Harris Brothers etc). It isn't perfect as it also lists a lorry belonging to James Manning where the photo was taken by Stephen Harris

 

The only sure fire way of doing this would be to transfer the entire transport list to a database such as the online ride and juveniles lists.
