Here's a couple of examples; 1) If I search for "Staffordshire" in the Coming Events Forum, theres's no results, even though there are Staffordshire fairs listed in the Forum. On the old Coming Events, that would show all the Staffordshire fairs listed in there. 2) I just read a post mentioning Walter Murphy's "Take Off". I don't know what ride that is, so I searched "Take Off" - no results. Am I doing something wrong? Edited April 9, 2016 by Trojanhorse11 Link to comment

Firstly there are NO events in the coming events forum, only sub forums, so that is why you get no results returned for Staffordshire. If you go into each sub forum and search you will get better results. There is no topic in March for Staffordshire, but there is for April. 2) I have no answer for this, but will ask Tech support - as it's the weekend it may take a day or two Regards Bill Link to comment

This is not a restriction of the Forum Software, but a restriction of MySQL which is the platform under the software. The full list of "stop" words (words which cannot be searched) is at https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/fulltext-stopwords.html I don't know a way round it, sorry. Link to comment
