We now have a dedicated part of the forum where the posting of Funfair Posters is quick and easy - browsing is also very easy. The Coming Events Poster section is available on the top menu or direct at https://www.fun-fairs.co.uk/gallery/category/3-coming-events/ We will endeavour to delete posters once an event has past, but it would assist if you would use the "Report Image" link (top right of the poster screen) if we miss any. There is a facility to add comments to each poster if you have further information or any comments on the event. The current "Coming Events" forums will be merged into a single "Coming Events" Forum. It is up to you to choose where you post details of any coming events, although if you don't have a poster, you'll need to use the Coming Events forum. Again, we will make every effort to delete past events, but we may miss the odd one. It would help if the end date of the event was in the Topic title, as would using the "Report" button if we miss any. Purely as a suggestion, this forum could also be used for "What's attending" type posts - in fact the poster section could also accommodate this type of request. If anyone has any further suggestions as to help the flow of Coming Event information, please let one of the Team know. The Team 4 2

Is this the way it is intended to work ?

I've managed one poster, but I am aware of one fair coming up soon but don't have a poster yet. I can't seem to start a new post in Coming events just to write the info until a poster is available. Some help please!

The New Topic link should now be available in the Coming Events Forum. 1

The Report feature is found by clicking on the 3 small dots ( top right corner) of each post. Likewise with the 'Coming events' forum as well please ?. We are trying to keep up to date with deleting any cancelled events and events that have already passed, but some will slip through the net unfortunately. If you have any difficulties, just pm a Team member. Thanks The Team 3

I found it useful to list alphabetically when looking for a specific event. Did you know that when uploading a poster you can single click any poster and add a caption? I use the place name as it's more useful than the default which uses the image name (and if it's come from Facebook is usually something unintelligible ) Did you know that all members can comment on a poster? Useful if you have additional information, want to ask a question etc. Please can I ask ANY member who uses our Facebook Group, Current & Future Funfair Events who sees an event listed there that isn't in in the forum to add the poster here? (Open the image in Facebook, right click the poster, save image and upload here). We will endeavour to delete expired and cancelled events, but it would assist us if you saw any event we've missed if you clicked the "Report Image" button (top right of the screen) 1

Given the little/lack of financial support the Government have offered to the industry, anything we can do to advertise fairs is a must at the moment. I accept it's a quiet time of year for the business anyway ( in normal times), so anything the forum can do to help promote it is important. Thanks in advance harry m 5

It's fantastic to see so many events listed now we seem to be 'easing?' Out of lockdown. Keep up the good work as it can only help Showmen who've had a very difficult 12-14 months. Regards harry m 7
